Coca (Segovia), August 10, 2026.—COPESE Food Group is celebrating its 50th anniversary after closing out 2025 with positive growth in its key financial metrics. The company’s operating revenue reached 150.4 million euros, compared to the 131.9 million recorded in 2024, representing an increase of 14.01%. This growth was accompanied by a strong increase in EBITDA, which stood at 12.1 million euros, 61.29% higher than the previous year. The EBITDA margin rose to 8.03%, compared to 5.68% in 2024, reflecting the Group’s improved operational efficiency and profitability. The company also currently has a workforce of more than 400 employees, in addition to another 150 indirect jobs, reinforcing its contribution to the economic and social development of rural areas. Currently, 31% of the team is made up of women, and three out of every ten employees are under 35 years old—figures that reflect the company’s commitment to employment, generational renewal, and the promotion of professional opportunities in the region. Looking at the company’s growth, the number of employees rose from 364 in 2024 to 395 in 2025, representing an 8.52% increase in employment. According to José Muñoz, CEO of Grupo Alimentario COPESE, “2025 has been a year of consolidation for our business model, strategy, and financial discipline. We have increased our revenue, significantly improved profitability, and reduced our debt level, which allows us to face the future on a stronger footing.” “These results,” he continues, “validate the work we’ve done over the past few years and encourage us to keep growing with a long-term vision. Our challenge is to continue evolving, innovating, and developing new products without losing our essence,” says José Muñoz. “All of this is possible thanks to the commitment of our professionals and the partner companies that are part of this project. “We will continue to focus on creating jobs and wealth in rural areas because we firmly believe in the future of our towns,” he adds. An integrated model that guarantees quality and traceability Grupo Alimentario COPESE integrates all phases of the pork value chain through Piensos COPESE, the family business’s origins; Granjas COPESE; the Hola Food meat processing center; and Eresma, the brand under which it markets fresh meats, hams, shoulder hams, and cured meats. Its operations are primarily based in the Segovian towns of Coca and Villacastín, as well as in other municipalities in the provinces of Segovia, Ávila, and Valladolid. The Group controls the entire production process, from genetics and feed manufacturing to breeding, fattening, processing, and the production of meat products. This vertically integrated model ensures high standards of quality, food safety, and traceability across all its products, while also improving efficiency and coordination among the various companies that make up the Group. Growth, Innovation, and International Presence Having reached its 50th anniversary, Grupo Alimentario COPESE is entering a new phase focused on consolidating its growth, strengthening its competitiveness, improving its production processes, and continuing to develop products tailored to new market demands. The company plans to continue investing in innovation, technology, efficiency, and the improvement of its facilities, building on the greater financial strength achieved during the last fiscal year. Over the past year, the Group has also strengthened its presence at some of the agri-food sector’s leading trade shows. At Alimentaria Barcelona, Hola Food showcased the results of its consistent efforts, which have enabled the company to consolidate its presence in highly demanding international markets such as China, Japan, and South Korea. For its part, Eresma presented its proposal under the slogan “Alma Rural,” highlighting the origin, tradition, and quality of its products. The company also participated in Salón Gourmets, where it unveiled its Integrated Production Process (P.I.P.), one of the key differentiators of its production model. “Celebrating our 50th anniversary means recognizing everything we’ve built, but also taking on the responsibility of preparing the company for the coming decades. We want to continue growing from our region, creating opportunities, innovating, and taking our products further and further,” adds José Muñoz.
