Hola Food renews its IFS and BRCGS quality certificates

The meat processing centre, owned by Grupo Alimentario Copese, obtains an A+ rating for BRCGS and a ‘Superior Level’ rating for IFS.

The Hola Food meat processing centre, part of the Grupo Alimentario Copese holding company, has recently renewed its International Featured Standards (IFS) and British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRCGS) certifications. These internationally recognised standards certify compliance with the strictest requirements in terms of food safety, process management, hygiene, risk control and continuous improvement. On this occasion, Hola Food has obtained an A+ rating for BRCGS and a ‘Superior Level’ rating for IFS, which means that it complies with more than 95% of the requirements. ‘Obtaining these ratings under the unannounced audit modality demonstrates that our commitment to quality and food safety is our usual way of working,’ emphasises Marta Hebrero, the company's Director of Quality Control and Food Safety. The renewal of these certifications, which were first obtained in 2021, reflects the constant work of the entire team to maintain the highest standards. In addition to these labels, Hola Food has Welfair™ Animal Welfare certification (for the sale of carcasses and cut products) and ISO 50001 certification, which recognises its energy management system and its commitment to efficiency and sustainability. All these accreditations enable the company to offer the highest guarantees, ensuring fresh meat produced under strict quality protocols.
