Los Eriales, winner of a bronze medal at the 2026 Porc d'Or Ibérico Awards

Last Friday, June 12, the Iberian pork industry gathered in Jerez de los Caballeros (Badajoz) to celebrate the latest edition of the Porc d'Or Ibérico Awards.

These awards, organized by the Institute for Agri-Food Research and Technology (IRTA), recognize technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement among Spain’s most outstanding Iberian pig farms. The evaluation criteria include technical performance, productivity, environmental impact, biosecurity, and animal welfare. Our Los Eriales Farm was awarded the bronze medal in the second category of the Longevity Award (weaned piglets per sow). This is an invaluable recognition that reaffirms the strength, dedication, and professionalism of an exceptional team that works hard every day on our farms. It is also worth highlighting the excellent performance of our Olombrada Farm, which was nominated in the third Longevity category. Sharing the stage in the finals alongside the country’s leading farms places our farms and our entire team among the elite of the national Iberian pig sector.
