The ITP card: Copese Food Group's curious initiative to promote rural employment

The holding company Grupo Alimentario Copese (Comercial Pecuaria Segoviana, Agropecuaria Entrepinos, Eresma Elaborados and Hola Food) has launched a curious initiative with the aim of highlighting the benefits of living in a village and promoting rural employment.

To this end, the company has created the Technical Inspection of Villages (ITP) card, inspired by the well-known ITV for vehicles, and has taken to the streets of the surrounding villages in the provinces of Segovia and Valladolid, where it has distributed more than 6,000 ITP cards.

Vanesa Blázquez, director of the People Department of Grupo Alimentario Copese, has pointed out that living in a village offers many opportunities, including the possibility of finding employment in a key sector such as agri-food. "With the ITP Card we aim not only to inform, but also to encourage people to consider an emotionally healthy life and career in the rural environment." As part of this campaign, a video has been released where people working on the Group's pig farms share their work experiences.

The video presents a diversity of profiles, including a veteran with more than 30 years of experience and a young woman who has just started in this sector. All of them highlight positive aspects such as the work environment, job stability, and the possibility of reconciling family life thanks to work schedules that allow them to enjoy free afternoon Grupo Alimentario Copese is currently in a selection process to fill vacancies in its farms, offering attractive benefits such as intensive morning hours, continuous training and job stability.
